  • Drum roll please for number #1. Public Adjusters are licensed by the State of Florida and are very good at what they do. We understand the industry inside and out. We have the staff to fight the insurance companies. One last thing did I mention that we work for You not the insurance company. Please give us an opportunity to help take care of your next claim. Reason #2 – We don’t get paid until you get paid money over the cost of your deductible.

  • Did we mention we work for You not the insurance company. We work on a contingency basis. We don’t get paid until you get paid money over the cost of your deductible. If you have been denied on a prior claim what do you have to lose? Let us reopen the claim. If we take your claim then we will get you paid.

Reason #3 – According to the Florida Legislature’s Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability-OPPAGA, Policy holders who hired public adjusters (PA) for non-catastrophic claims received 574% more money than those who did not hire a PA. Policy holders who hired public adjusters for Hurricane related claims received 747% more money.

  • There is nothing more to say. We get you paid more!

Reason #4 – If you go to arbitration with your claim, the arbitrator is paid for by the insurance company.

  • If you do not like the offer that your insurance company makes, then you have the right, in Florida, to go to arbitration. The arbitrator, is paid for, you guessed it ……by the insurance company.

Reason #5 – The insurance company will send out their adjuster to adjust your claim but their adjuster works for them, not you.

  • After your claim is initiated, your very helpful insurance company or their Independent Adjuster will hire an Independent Professional Engineer (PE) who appears at your tome to study the cause of your claim does not work for you, works for, you guessed it……the insurance company. The PE is there to find reasons to deny your claim. Don’t ask them or your insurance company for a copy of their report because they will not give it to you. The insurance company calls it work product. It is okay. We have our own Professional Engineers that will do reports for us if needed.

amount-of-loss-dipustes-in-south-floridaReason #6 – Insurance companies initially offer you a fraction of the true value of your claim.

  • Insurance companies often do not offer you the maximum amount for reimbursement. For example, Florida’s matching statute states that if the repair for the damage can’t be matched then they must replace all of it. (roof, flooring, counter tops) They don’t tell you this and worse they pretend not to know this. Your “independent adjuster” writes an estimate for repairs and submits it to the desk adjusters at the insurance company who in turn chop it down and after about 90 days will advise you by letter that you will be getting either denied or a small offer. Their offers are so low that on average we get you 4.5 to 7 and a half times more money than they offer you for your claim. The “independent adjuster” who appeared at your home is paid for by, you guessed right again….the insurance company!

Reason #7 – Your insurance broker is paid a commission by your insurance company for placing your business with them.

  • Your independent insurance agent. Now that is an oxymoron! The insurance agent who sells you your policy can have allegiance to only one party. Do you know if your agent is penalized for severity or frequency of claims on his written book of business? The party who licenses insurance agents to sell their policies is the same party who pays your insurance agent’s commission and that party is, you guessed it again ….. the insurance company!

Reason #8 – Public Adjusters are trained professionals that work for you not your insurance company.

  • We as your public adjuster work for You and have your financial interest at heart. The polite independent insurance adjuster who has been hired to work your claim, who may be completely inexperienced and who shows up at your door sometime after a claim has been filed by your adjuster works for, you guessed it.….the insurance company and not for you!

Reason #9 – Your insurance contract with your carrier is one-sided and not negotiable.

  • Your contract/policy is called an aleatory agreement. It is one-sided. It cannot be changed by you, the insured, and it was written to protect the profits of, you guessed it…. the insurance company.

Reason #10 – Insurance companies do not have your best interest at heart.

  • Your contract/policy is called an aleatory agreement. It is one-sided. It cannot be changed by you, the insured, and it was written to protect the profits of, you guessed it…. the insurance company.
